Mumbai-based, fashion designer and stylist Umair Zafar is launching a summer collection called “High Street Fashion” all across Mumbai. Says Umair Zafar, “The collection is mainly to target the youth of Mumbai, and is styled and designed for them. The price range is affordable and starts from Rs 1800. The maximum range could go up to Rs 4000. The collection will be sold through multi-brand stores and is for males and females in the age group of 20-35 years. ”
Giving details of the collection, Umair Says, “The western collection is made of pure lenin, cotton lenin, cotton stain, etc and the color palettes are vibrant yet cool. The tailoring and quality control standards are very high with the latest cuts and styles which suit Indian body types. The outfits have minimal thread embroidery and are very wearable, even in the humid and warm weather of cities like Mumbai and Delhi.
Umair recently shot for a preview look with Miss India finalist Ruhi Singh to showcase his collection. He also plans a fashion show to promote the range in the coming two weeks.
